A comic series about the life of a teenage girl named Nkisu. She is navigating feminism in her day-to-day life at her new boarding school the African Feminist Academy.

The story highlights how she tackles different hurdles, meets amazing people and ideas and maybe even falls in love. This comic is both fun and informative for all ages.


Episode 1: Period Poverty


In this episode, we follow Nkisu as she settles into her new feminist school. She makes new friends and learns about disability and period poverty.

In this episode, the girls gather for an open discussion on rarely discussed topics. Tackling sex education topics, they share advice and support in a candid and empowering conversation.

While Nkisu tries to find her footing within the school, she comes across a new club called “Intersectional Feminism” hosted by Khazi. She is introduced to new feminist terms, meets and intersex person and finally has that pending coversation with Tinashe.

In this thrilling episode, the gang receives a coveted inivitation to participate in an inter-school debate on thought-provoking topics like feminism and challenging gender norms. As they prepare for the event, tensions rise within the group as differing perspectives on these issues come to light.

In this though-provoking episode, the gang gathers for an impassioned discussion on feminist culture, diving into crucial topics like consent, contraceptives, and body autonomy. As they navigate these conversations, each character brings a unique perspective, sparking debates and revelations.
