SustyVibes is a youth-led environmentally focused organisation that designs and implements youth centric projects that benefit people and the environment. They work with over 900 volunteers and 70 partners across Africa to deliver environmental projects that make sustainability actionable, relatable, cool and fun for young Africans using arts and pop culture. Their vision is to build a platform for young people to believe in their abilities to transform the world. Guided by the principles of gender equality and environmental justice, they strive to co-create a sustainable future within a thriving planet.
As part of the African Feminisms project, Susty Vibes, is offering an empowering intersectional training programme for young feminists and women in Nigeria who are ready to transform their lives and communities. This holistic training will focus on key themes of Rights and Representation and provide support across three distinct groups of young Nigerian women aged 18-30:
- Unapologetic feminists and feminist enthusiasts looking to amplify their voices on feminist and gender-related policies in Nigeria.
- Creatives who channel their passion, hopes, and aspirations through art and expression.
- Environmentalists and ecofeminists committed to protecting the planet and advocating for sustainable change.
Through this programme, Susty Vibes aims to empower participants, challenge conventional narratives, and strengthen their sense of power as African feminists. The training will explore the global challenges of our time (polycrisis) and foster a renewed focus on self-care, community care, and resilience.
